Kayıhan Keskinok studied at Gazi Institute of Education, Department of Painting and Decorative Arts between 1942 and 1945. He later worked at the studios of Refik Epikman and Malik Aksel. He received a scholarship from the Swiss Government and went to Lousanne to work in the School of Arts in 1960 and 1961. He has had over forty-nine solo exhibitions and has received nine awards, among which are Atatürk and Republic Award Ministry of Culture 50th Anniversary Competition in 1973 and the First Prize Senate of Republic, Painting Exhibition in 1981. Since 1983, he has been the directing his own studio and working as an independent artist. The artist expresses his art as fantastic-figurative with an emphasis for anatomy. |
